A busy summer day

IMG_0932Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremma. Now, the weather has been getting warmer, mummy and daddy have been outside, doing things around the house and garden.  They spent Sunday, pouring a vast amount of chemicals into the pool and starting up the filtration and chlorination systems.  Mummy says the children can start using the pool this Labour weekend, the traditional start of summer here in New Zealand.

Mummy has been putting bird netting over her strawberry beds to keep the birds away.

The raspberries will be next to have bird netting over them.

Later on, Mummy took Me and Nellie for our daily 5 kilometer (3 miles) walk.   We are such good dogs when We go for our walks.   But for some reason, mummy needs to use phrases as “Don’t even think about it, Jasper” and “No, Nellie” when Me and Nellie want to something interesting.

Looks like nice weather. On our walks we hear Drop it Bailie, Leave it Bailie, she is the troublesome one here.

  6. Kyla says:

What’s the point of a walk if you can’t do the most interesting things?

  7. Yepperz – even tho we Beaglebratz don’t git out of our bakyard rite now – we still hear “I wouldn’t do that”, “You WILL come in NOW” or “Not everyone in the neighborhood wantz tue hear that”. Of course there r otherz BUTT thoze r what we hear most of.

That iz odd that u’all r movin’into warmer weather while here in Kansas (US) we are getting colder. Our mom went out shoppin’with our aunt sis fer baby niece’z birthday who livez in Aussie land – kinda hard findin’summer clothez here in October when it iz cold here.

Your mum says the same things like my mom does. She says the word, “Don’t you dare” about every single thing that looks fun. Or delicious.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

Berries…sound so good! That is a very nice swimming pool, do you and Nellie get to swim in it? I hear those words a lot too, why do they want to say them so much…all we want to do is investigate…right? Hugs and nose kisses
