A Big Storm

Me enjoying running around Farmer Rae's paddock before the nasty fence bit Me.Greeting loyal readers.  It has been really stormy here today.  Lots of wind and rain.  Don’t worry about Me and Nellie as we are safe and sound inside snoozing on the carpet.  Mummy and daddy went for a walk to see if any trees had come down.  They saw a large tree was down over by the river so they thought they wander down and have a closer look.  They allowed Me and Nellie to follow them through Farmer Rae’s paddock.  As you can see from the above photo how I am frolicking joyfully in the paddock. We all got closer to the fallen tree and then it hit Me.  I was attacked by a nasty fence.  Yes, loyal readers it is true.  It bit Me.  I was so socked that I ran all the way home as fast as I could go.  For some reason my family thought it was really funny and they laughed at Me. I did not like that one at all.

Mummy went down to the letterbox to see if the papers were there and she saw two peacocks in the front paddock.  She wished she had her camera with her because they were just in front of her and it would have been a good photo to show everyone.  The grapes on the grape-vine on the deck are ripening and it is attracting all kinds of bird life.  Do you like the picture of the fantail sister took?

Mummy says she is still not very good at putting pictures on my blog.  Hopefully, she will get better with practise.  Off Me and Nellie go.   Daddy and brother are about to start picking up branches that have come down in the storm and We must be there to supervise.  Love Nellie and Jasper.
