Maremma Snacks

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Life has been very quiet again this week.  Me and Nellie have been our usual good selves, except when I found a decomposing possum and thought it would be a good idea to have a snack on it on the deck.  For some reason my family were not very pleased when I brought this reeking, putrid piece of possum leg within smelling distance of them. For some reason I was told I was a bad maremma and take my snack away.  Can’t understand why as it was delicious. We have been so cute, if I do say so myself.  Nellie was lying on the carpet this morning with her legs in the air, looking her adorable self.  We have not indulged in any random moon barking at night nor have we chased any chickens or been caught trying to be extra friendly to those two silly rabbits.  As you can see from the above photo Me and Nellie are sharing a tasty snack.

Mummy was telling Us that there was chat on the maremma community notice board about how other maremmas are getting toast for their morning dinner.  That is not fair.  Me and Nellie are not allowed toast in the morning.  We have to make do with doggy biscuits.  Sometimes, we do not bother eating our biscuits until the afternoon.  We like to sit and guard them and protect our biscuits from those maundering chickens but we do not eat them.  Occasionally,  mummy takes our biscuits away from Us in an attempt to focus our minds upon the task of eating our morning dinner but it does not work.  Off Me and Nellie go.  Farmer Rae is coming down his driveway and We have to be there to let him know We are watching him.  Then We need to have a little snooze under the kitchen table.  Love Nellie and Jasper.

Do you like the photo of Nellie being cute on the back lawn?
