Greeting loyal readers from all over the world. The weather has been most glorious, therefore, mummy has been out in the garden, with Me and Nellie supervising her. On Friday Me and Nellie were watching mummy clear some weeds and rubbish from around the back of the old tennis court. We were have a nice snooze under the trees, when suddenly Me and Nellie leaped up and
started barking at something moving over in Farmer Rae’s driveway. Mummy initially couldn’t see what We were barking at, and she told Us off, and to stop woofing so much. But We ignored her and continued our barking. She came over to see why We were making so much noise, and then she saw what had provoked our outburst. There in the distance were two piggy wiggys, called Sir Oinkalot and The Honourable Mr Ham Trotter, ambling down the driveway. She called brother over and they went and closed the two gates leading in and out of the driveway and then called Neighbour Paul, whose piggy wiggys they were to let him know that his pigs were having a nice little walk in the sunshine. “Oh *&^%% he said, I had just put a new hot-wire around their enclosure and they had managed to get around it. I will be over in five minutes to get them”. Meanwhile, brother had gone and picked some apples for the piggy wiggys to eat. He let Me and Nellie into the paddock and We rushed over to the fence to get a better view of the intruders. As soon as the two piggy wiggys saw that apples were on the offering they rushed up to the fence. They looked at Me and Nellie and We looked at them. Me and Nellie had to bark some more, just in case there was some one in the Mangamahu valley who might have missed the arrival of the piggy wiggys into Farmer Rae’s driveway. Then, Neighbour Paul arrived with his dog Arlo, well that prompted another lovely woof-a-thon between Me and Nellie and Arlo. By this stage mummy was getting rather sick of listening to Me and Nellie barking, so she got brother to take Us back to the house until the piggy wiggys could be taken home. After all this barking Me and Nellie felt We deserve a little rest. Though Me and Nellie are rather concerned for We heard mummy and daddy talking about taking Me and Nellie for a CAR ride. Love Jasper and Nellie the two woofest maremmas in the land.
