Jack Frost came to visit Us last night.

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  As you know Me and Nellie live in the southern hemisphere and by all accounts it should be spring here.  Well, you wouldn’t have thought so last night. It was so cold, mummy even lit the fire and Me and Nellie had a lovely snooze in front of it.  Mummy did mention to brother that she was a bit concerned about some of the frost tender vegetable plants in the garden, but as she hoped that they would all be ok.

Look what Jack Frost has done to mummy’s plants.  Naughty boy!!  Off Me and Nellie go.  Farmer Rae has arrived next door and  We must be there to greet him. Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in the land.

It’s only November and my Canadian friends tell me it snowed in Calgary on October 3. Global warming must be to blame.

  5. How funny. We had a friend named Jack Frost come visit us too. It’s so sad to see the plants wither away.

We are having the same odd weather here – we’ve had maybe 5 days of hot, summer like weather the rest of the time it has been raining or the wind has been blasting us or it’s just been plain cold.

Hope your mommy can rescue her plants.

    licks & love,
    Wally & Sammy

We are very sorry Mummy’s plant are looking so bad and hope very much that they perk up when the warm sun is on them a while. We know how excited she was to get them in the ground, especially the pumpkins.
