Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas. Mummy came back from her garden ramble all full of enthusiasm (VBP word) about developing some new garden beds. Would you like to see some photos of her hard word. Of course you would.
This is a photo of a garden bed on the way to the wool shed. It is down the path and is sunny, so mummy thought she’d plant some roses and then under plant with some low, ground covering plants. She is not too sure what yet, but she will know when she sees the plants in the garden centre. The other plant is a yellow peony tree which a friend gave mummy over a year ago and has been sitting in a pot waiting for mummy to
get off her butt and decide where to plant it, find a suitable place for it.
The other garden bed is under some trees, so mummy has put in some hostas and hellebores. Two plants that seem to flourish around here. You will be glad to know loyal readers, Me and Nellie did not assist mummy in her garden efforts. It was far too hot, so We rested in the cool shade and watched her.
This final photo is of a garden bed mummy started last summer but she is still developing it. Just ignore the weeds. Love Nellie and Jasper, who is very excited for on Saturday it is MY birthday.
