The Naked tree

The naked tree

The naked tree

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas. Now, that sister is home from school, mummy thought it would be a good idea for her to decorate the Christmas tree.  So she got it out of the cupboard and put it up and left it for sister to decorate, while she went off to work.   Well the tree is still there, still naked and undecorated, except for the fairy on the top of the tree.  Sister says she is waiting for some Xmas lights before she can start decorating the tree, so mummy said she will get some today from the Warehouse. As you can see from the photo the tree is rather bare.  So watch this space for more tree developments.

This morning before mummy went to feed her growing giant pumpkins some worm wee from the worm farm.  Considering the damage Jack Frost did in the beginning of November, her pumpkins are not looking too bad.  She continues to insist on giving the plants tasty treats, sheep pellets and then wonders why she has to yell and Me and Nellie when We try and help ourselves to them.  Silly mummy. Love Nellie and Jasper, who have been such good maremmas.

Litttle baby apples on the apple tree. Hopefully they did not get damaged by the hail storm on Friday.

001Above is the view from the deck of the weather on Friday.  It  was very cold, wet and windy.

My, my, sheep pellets, such delicacies, how lucky are you? The weather looks nasty though. Might have to stay dry under that big green tree.

The bottom of our tree is bare because it is puppy proofed. Next August we won’t care about the tree but the puppy is a different matter-we’ll still care about her.

  4. My gang loves tasty treats too but they are tasty horse pellets. Naked tree needs some clothes and baby apples look like they survived jack frost. Have a great night.

How tree has stuff on it. Little silver balls. But… If you can believe. Floyd and I are NOT allowed to play with the balls… What’s with that?!

Sprinkle chocolate drops around the kitchen and see what happens – then perhaps they’ll understand! 😀

  7. Our tree was put up today – Billie tried to help me by pinching the tinsel! I’ll look forward to seeing the finished product! I hope you and Nellie don’t ‘help’ sister too much!!

When we lived in Germany we were right by the dike where all the sheep were out grazing – that sheep poo was amazing! Mom got some good arm muscles trying to pull us back from eating it but it was all over. Good luck with the tree, it does need some decoration!

  9. I’m very impressed with your pumpkin vines, but I’m with you, Nellie & Jasper. Sheep pellets are meant to be eaten.

Pee Ess: I can’t wait to see your tree.

  10. No tree in here this year, Doggy would take it down in no time.
