Cup Cakes

See Me looking very attentive.

See Me looking very attentive.

Greeting loyal readers. Now as you all know, sister likes to bake cakes, especially coloured cup cakes.  Well, yesterday she decided to make cup cakes with FIVE different colours.  As you can see from the photo she was successful and yes that is Me in the background drooling over the thought of getting a tasty treat.  Needless to say I didn’t because there was chocolate in the cakes and mummy and daddy say chocolate is bad for little doggie woggies.  Love Nellie and Jasper.

How disappointing for you! Maybe she’ll bake something special for you another day.

  2. Nikitaland says:

Yep, chocolate is really deadly for doggies, but I am sure that you get lots of “treats” since you are such a good doggie woggie! (not to mention super cute too) 🙂

  3. Emmadog says:

Mom’s niece would love those – I think those colors appeal more to the palettes of mini-humans and pets than adults but they are fun!

  4. Great cakes but how sad that you didn’t get to sample any. The least she could have done was to bake you some nice liver cake at the same time.

  5. Poor puppy! My, you really are so handsome though, how did sister resist? why did sister not make special Jasper cupcakes? Our mother once made us some doggy biscuits, they had carrot, peanut butter, oats, a little bit of bacon…. we really liked them, but she hasn’t made them since. Something about too much fat being bad for doggies. Sigh, its like having the food police around all the time… Love, Freykles and Rocimond

    • Greetings to our Australian cousins. How are you two. Me and Nellie have not heard from you in a while. We hope you have not been affected by those bush fires We have been hearing about. Me and Nellie know all about the food police. After all is Nellie not still on her anti-whale diet. Love Nellie and Jasper.

You must have the same condition as Eko – when something smells tasty, he suddenly is very interested in focusing on my every movement. If only it were so when trying to learn new tricks!

Jasper, I have given my Mom the same look! I love being in the kitchen, but she has lectured me on the differences between human food and dog food. Sometimes she gives me carrots and green beans, but those cup cakes sure look good!

  16. Oh they look so good ;o) Hope your mom will make some doggy-cupcakes for you too ;o)

  19. Chancy and Mumsy (Mag) says:

Those look really yummy but it is a fact that chocolate is not good for doggies. Maybe she will bake you some special cupcakes one day. Hugs and nose kisses
