A cow adventure

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Now, as you all know We have two cows called Maise and Oscar. Once upon a time there were four cows but Bubba and Forrest are still holidaying down at Farmer Rae’s orchard.  The  cows have been grazing in the old tennis court. Aunty is staying this weekend because she wishes to finish her packing before her skiing trip to central Asia.  Well, when she got up this morning, there in the orchard were Maise and Oscar having a delightful munch on one of the apple trees.  Mummy didn’t have time to grab the camera because they had to get the cows out of the orchard quickly.  Brother opened the gate to the woolshed paddock and they chased those two naughty cows through the gate.  Below is a photo of the hole in the tennis court fence that the naughty cows got through.

Funny thing is neither brother or aunty whose bedrooms face that side of the house heard anything.  Sneaky Maise and Oscar.  Off Me and Nellie go.  It is time for Us to supervise mummy out in the garden.  Love Nellie and Jasper.

  5. Maise and Oscar are very clever… maybe they should wear a cow-bell?

  6. Are you sure Maise and OScar aren’t to blame for all the other naughty things that happen round your house??

Upps…sounds like trouble. When mom lived in southern Germany in a rural area there were lots of cows. My Kuvasz sister Katie liked them at first but then there was a small herd that got loose one day and chased mom and Katie down the road and ever since then she is terrified of cows! Some guard dog!!!

Guard that hole in the fence. You both do good work. Drink lots of water as you work in the garden because I hear its really hot.

When I think “cow” I never think “sneaky”. LOL! I will have to look at them with fresh eyes. 🙂

That’s a big hole in the fence did Maise and Oscar make that hole? You two did a good job supervising. Hugs and nose kisses

  11. Your mummy is in good hands (paws) with you two watching over her. I never saw a cow in my whole life! But once I ate a spider.

    Love and licks,

  16. Did the Cows get a tummy ache? I love apples, but my favourite treat remains broccoli!
Thank you for following my blog, Jasper and Nellie. It’s nice to have dog friends on the other side of the world! Are you upside down and sideways to us, then?
