Zoomies and other things

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  We have not been around much in blogland because mummy has been at work.  Last night mummy was in the kitchen and she heard a funny noise and when she looked out the window what did she see? Why Me and Nellie having fun digging a hole in the lawn.

Look at Me with my head in a hole.

Look at Me with my head in a hole.

For some reason she was not pleased at our efforts and came out and yelled at Me and Nellie.  Something about being  bad dogs and if We knew what was good for Us, We would stop this activity straight away.  You will all be glad to know that Me and Nellie ignored her and continued on with what We were doing.

Then Me and Nellie had a good game of Zoomies.  We were rampaging running around mummy’s garden so fast she couldn’t take very good photos of Us.

Look, Look, S.O.D hs been to visit us again. How else could mummy's pot plant be like this?

That lawn was too flat and uninteresting. It needed at least one hole.

  2. rumpydog says:

I can’t imagine why she doesn’t like your holes in the yard! They look professionally done.

  3. best hole my huMum’s dog Alex Airedale dug was under the concrete footpath leading to clothesline … let you imagine what happened when Grandma walked on it *paw muffled giggles* and xxx’s in concatulations on your excavation duties

I’m supposed to like to dig, but I have never really been into digging except in the sand on the beach…Katie used to dig a lot when she was young and got in all kinds of trouble, at least that is what I hear…that was before I was born.

Oh nooooo, zooming got you in trouble! Yikes! But I am sure you did not mean to knock over the plant!

  7. Sharna. Sophie, Issy, Itai and the pups Solomon and Sasha says:

Our Mum has lots of pots too and often SOD knocks them over. We dig holes sometimes, but when there are new pups it is important to teach them and we have to show them all how to dig!!

  8. Well, that will teach your Mom not to go off to work and ignore the two of you

  9. Well, sometimes you got to dig and run. It is horrible that SOD was by and caused mischief!

  10. Digging is so much fun and now your lawn is WAY more interesting:-)

  11. Mum wouldn’t of been complaining if you had found some buried treasure.

  12. You and Nellie really know how to have fun! Holes, zoomies, rampaging! Awesome. I made a hole in the snow, but when I stuck my head in, I sneezed.

    Love and licks,

  13. Joy says:

Honey still digs the occasional hole. We are middle aged now but still enjoy keeping mum on her toes. Problem was she put old carpet down in our area so now we are busy getting rid of that as well. Happy Digging and Doggie Sniffs – Nutty.

  14. Zena says:

We’re not allowed to dig holes in the lawn either 😦
Raffles has yet to learn this 🙂

Looks like a good hole, maybe mommy could plant something new? Maybe even from the pot that S.O.D. left messy. Oh man, zoomies look way fun.

  17. dougalldog says:

What’s the point of dirt if you can’t dig in it?

  18. Basil says:

That hole is fab, and well done on not letting your mum disturb you from your work! Humums, they just don’t get it do they!

  19. Oh wow, that must have been quite the revolt against Mummy going to work!

    Oink oink,
Katie and Coccolino the mini pig

  20. Will and Eko says:

Maybe you guys are just digging for treasure??

  21. Doesn’t she know digging is an art and you have to work to perfect it?

  22. You guys are like my Gambler and Glory, don’t know how all the holes get dug in the yard!
