Another early start

Greetings loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Once again family were up at the crack of dawn.  This time it was to take sister to Palmerston North to participate in a triathlon.  Me and Nellie do not know what a triathlon is.  Mummy says it involves lots of exercising and as loyal readers know, Me and Nellie would much rather be snoozing than running around for no reason at all.  They are stopping by and picking up the boyfriend on their way to Palmerston. Mummy wants daddy to go around to her uncle’s place and collect two old motorbikes – a Harley and a James and take them to uncle’s work, hence the need to have to boyfriend around to provide the muscles.  (He participate in wood chopping competitions) So, as mummy was up at some ungodly hour, she amused herself by taking some more photos of Us and some other things.  Love Nellie and Jasper, who are wondering where their morning dinner is.

Naughty but clever Nellie if she opened the gate? We cant figure out our gates, we can only peer through the fence or lean on top of it to bark at the chookies or wallabies. Some parts of the fence are becoming wobbly but that;s our secret.

Wood chopping. You must have muscles!

My sister Katie love walking and being up early but I have to say she hated running! Mom used to run with her…did marathon training with her too. Katie was an excellent runner but did not enjoy it at all and would hide when mom would come out in her running clothes.

I’m with you two…I’d much rather conserve energy than participate in a triathlon. 🙂
Hope they have a fun day though. Love the photos!

  12. Stella the Great Newfenees here, via my scribe, who says when it’s winter there, it’s summer here, and if the boyfriend is hoping to keep in shape, send him to us. We have a 52 acre woodlot that needs attention….
I just loved your photos! I have a gate too, and sometimes I’m able to push it open with my nose to take a shortcut to the house. Other times, I just get a sore nose from trying. Strawberry is beautiful!
