Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas. This morning mummy was watching Me and Nellie play zoomies on our play lawn. Then she saw Me playing with something. She couldn’t work out what it was and when she went over to see what it was, she discovered I was playing with a corn cob. Mummy has no idea where it came from and Me and Nellie aren’t going to tell her. Why should We?
Today we will find out if drought conditions will be declared in our part of the countryside. If, it were not for access to the bore and mummy’s constant watering activities most of the garden would be suffering from lack of water. As it is she only waters most plants when they look like they are suffering from stress. We heard daddy telling mummy that Maisie and Oscar the cows are going over the Neighbour Paul’s front paddock to eat the long grass there, while his sheep are down the road at their other property. Daddy says that the grass there should last for a month or so.

We hope it rains soon too. Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in all the hot, dusty land.
