Fifty shades of brown

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas. Here as promised are some more photos of the parched, dry New Zealand countryside. They say rain will be here soon.  Tomorrow sister is doing another triathlon.  She is talking about doing a half marathon, whatever that it. Love Nellie and Jasper, two maremmas who do not like too much excercise. 008012019013

  1. Wow, it is looking dry. We were like that here too, but we’ve finally received some rain this weekend – and boy has it rained!! It’s filled our tank, and the garden will be green again in no time. Hoping you’ll get some lovely rain soon too.

  6. I sure hope your rain will hurry up. Your sister is a very strong athlete to do so much exercise in hot weather. There is a half Marathon today n NY City. Mom and I will stay hydrated, even though we are only watching it on TV!!! 🙂

  11. Always surprised how much there is in common even though we live so far away. Ground is cracking, water rationing already being muttered, and wild fires starting early.
But I’m with the dogs, will be happy watching this weekends marathons and bike tours
