Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas. Mummy has been busy at the Museum and today is her first day off in nearly a week, so she has been busy doing something called “housework”. She says she would have lots less to do if Me and Nellie did not insist on coming inside with muddy paws and shedding snowy white fur all over the furnishings.
As loyal readers know, it is coming into autumn here in New Zealand and mummy has been busy gathering up some of the produce she has grown in the garden. She picked the first of her super hot chillies, so she can dry them and daddy can use chillies for cooking in the winter months.
Mummy found this interesting blog about the use of maremmas for protecting farm stock in America. http://jimcoda.wordpress.com/2013/03/26/lamb-petaluma-california/
Off Me and Nellie go. It is nearly our morning dinner time and We must be there awaiting for mummy to remember to feed Us. Love Nellie and Jasper.
