A rainy Monday morning

Me and Nellie waiting to come inside.

Me and Nellie waiting to come inside.

Greetings loyal readers and fellow maremmas (if there are any of you out there in blogland)  Today, mummy is home from work.  She says that she is very busy running a laundry service.  She is up to her ears in dirty washing.  Between brother’s dirty rugby gear and the boyfriends filthy jeans and shoes she is very busy.  Yes, that’s right, mummy is doing the boyfriend’s washing.  Somehow, he managed to get very grubby at the pawty.  Something about falling down a lot and getting very muddy. Me and Nellie can’t understand why he would be falling over.  Must have been something he eat.  Mummy says she knows it was a week since the pawty but his jeans were so dirty, it has taken her all week to get them clean.  At least mummy doesn’t have to worry about cleaning Me and Nellie.  We are totally self-cleaning.  Maremmas are well-known for mud not sticking to our fur.   You can read about our coat at the following link: http://www.angelfire.com/biz7/maremma/breed/history.html

Off Me and Nellie go.  It is almost time for our morning dinner and We must be there.  Love Nellie and Jasper.

  11. All I can say is that it sounds as if you guys are having a far better time than your poor mom. Golly, how did boyfriend convince her to do his washing? I need to learn that trick.

Those are great coats to have like the Newfs. Just let them dry and all the dirt brushes out. Bog dogs lot of brushing but much easier than bath 🙂
