A day home with mummy

Look S.O.D (someother doggy) has been to visit. After all there is no way Me or Nellie would chew on sister's protractor or chew the corner of the rugy.

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Today mummy was home all alone.  Daddy is away in Wellington; brother and sister are at school, so it was Me, Nellie and mummy at home.  Mummy was very busy doing something called housework.  She says she would less of this to do, if Me and Nellie did not come inside with our dirty paws putting muddy paw prints all over the floor. Or if We did not shed so much white, snowy fur all over the place, she would not  have to vacuum so often.  Who cares, after all what would mummy be doing if she was not cleaning up after Me and Nellie.   When mummy had finished doing her housework, she went out into the garden and took some photos of Me and Nellie, well mainly of Me, of course. 005003See, how magnificant I am.

Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in all the land.

  1. Mom says that photo with the protractor gave her a cold shiver right down her spine and that SOD was doing the world a favour by destroying it. Mom is not a fan of maths…in any way, shape or form.

Well done for keeping your mom busy & company.

    You are a handsome fellow.

I can imagine how much housework you guys cause. Zak has small paws and doesn’t shed hair but he can certainly make a mess!!!!! Mud sticks to his paws like you wouldn’t believe, he insists on bringing in sticks and shredding them all over the carpet, toys get pulled apart……… When I try to convince him not to do any of the above, he just gives me ‘the look’ lol.

  4. Me and Krissy think you and Nellie are doing a great job, Jasper. It’s really very thoughtful of you to give your Mum something to do so that she doesn’t get bored when she’s on her own.

We love the photos – and it’s nice to see the kereru. We have one in our garden, too. Today, we had a fantail flying around the sitting room. I was upstairs at the time, but Mum says Krissy was a very good girl and totally ignored it! 🙂

Love from Solo and Krissy 🙂

  5. Perhaps you could help your mummy by using your tails as “dusters” ! That’d get the housework done very quickly, then you could all go and play!

Mom loves my Kuvasz sister to death but she doubts she will get another of the breed because that shedding thing is just unbelievable. Maybe hairspray would hold it on better?

  7. SOD visits gambler at least once a day!

  8. Kyla says:

That’s it-They blame everything on dogs.

  9. You and Nellie are positively majestic outside. If only S.O.D would stop trying to make you seem naughty. Plus that rug looks delicious – not that you’d know anything about that….

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  10. My mom would be happy if she had S.,O.D. on her side as she was a child – the damaged prottractor the best excuse to avoid this math stuff :o)

  11. you are right! You tell your Mummy if it weren’t for you and Nellie she would be bored silly!!!! Barks and licks and love, Dakota

We have a spot out of our little rug that was done by S.O.D. Too! And Mom also says she wouldn’t have to vacuum much at all if the rug wasn’t covered with black hair. And we are just trying to keep her company!

  13. Dougall says:

Muddy paw prints! What are peeps ALWAYS complaining about muddy paw prints?!

  14. Dina Mom says:

Of course you’re the better maremma!

  15. Sage says:

Thank dogness for SOD. What would we do without them? And talk about housework! Mom had to buy a new noise maker because the kitties and I have too much hair all over the place. Say? I could send you some of my black hair so you could spread it about. Wouldn’t that make your Mum wonder? 🙂

  16. Misaki says:

Love the way we get blamed for extra housework!
