Greeting loyal readers. It was the shortest day last week and it is the time of year that mummy needs to be out in her garden, planting her garlic bulbs. Well, today she
got off her backside was motivated to plant her garlic. Of course Me and Nellie assisted her by sitting in her asparagus bed and watching her. It has been very cold today. Mummy says it is too cold to garden, so she has been busy inside, doing nothing in particular housework. While mummy was outside she saw this little yellow bird in the garden. It was a goldfinch. Here is a photo of one of these little birds.
Later on in the afternoon mummy and daddy could hear this loud noisy things flying over the valley. Now loyal readers may not realise that we live within an hours drive of an Air Force base called Ohakea and often planes and helicopters fly over Us. Here is a photo of a NH90 French helicopter that flew over this afternoon. Me and Nellie were so good and We didn’t even more from in front of the fire to chase this noisy machine off. Love Nellie and Jasper. It is almost time for our evening dinner and We must remind mummy of this.
