Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Yesterday, mummy got up very early and went off to Wellington to collect sister from the airport.  She has been to Aust-ra-lia.

Sister had lots of fun over there and brought back lots of cloths and chocolate.  Mummy says Me and Nellie are not allowed to have any chocolate as it is bad for little doggie woggies.  Sister also came home with a didgeridoo.  Me and did not like this thing for it made funny noises at Me and Nellie and as loyal readers know Me and Nellie do not like such strange things.  You can read all about didgeridoos here:

Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest mareemas in all the land.

We’ve got a dodgy-doo too and we don’t like the noise it makes. I think if they could play it properly it might be better!

Oh, didge are great! The school my peep teaches at has a lot of Aboriginal kids, some of the boys are learning to play the didge, it’s a big part of their dreaming (culture).

Make sure your sissy doesn’t play it, the didge is Men’s business, the Wiradjuri people believe that if women play it, it will stop them from being able to have babies!
