A Morning walk

How We get out for our walkabout.

How We get out for our walkabout.

Greetings loyal readers and fellow maremmas. Me and Nellie have taken to going on a nice morning constitutional walk down to Farmer Rae’s kiwifruit orchard. After We have been gone for a while, mummy notices that We are not home and comes down to collect Us. It does mummy good to have a brisk walk in the morning, but for some reason or another she is not happy about having to come down to the orchard and get Us. She says We are bad dogs and shouldn’t be wandering around the countryside unescorted. She says Me and Nellie are naughty and should stay at home and not go for walkabouts.  Who cares about what mummy says.  Me and Nellie are having too much fun.   We were so good this morning.  We came back without mummy having to yell at Us to return home. Here are some photos mummy took when she had to come down to collect Us.  Love Jasper and Nellie, the two bestest maremmas in all the land.

If you can’t roam about the countryside, then who’s going to do it?

Such a beautiful morning walk. All that grass would be a big distraction for me 🙂

I just love the area that you guys live in! So beautiful and a great place to take a walkie!

  7. you both are just too cute! Tell Mummy you probably just had a taste for Kiwi!!!

  8. Please be careful, I know a walk without humans is very funny, but it’s better to take a walk together with the bipeds (who else should remove our mines?).

You have to be carefully, I bet when your mum finds you have gone walking she sets off at a very brisk pace!!

  10. Such a lovely place for a run…oh, just a fast walk…but so nice – who could resist?

Such beautiful country to walk in, so wonder you can’t resist walking down to the farmer’s orchard. It seems as if you do not have much traffic to worry about, unlit the street I live on where there are lots of cars and they go very fast so I have to worry about my little dog when he gets out.

I’m sure you are only thinking of mummy and her health 😉 It’s funny how you walk past her and keep going, LOL
