See how grubby Nellie is

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas. Now, as you all know Me and Nellie have lovely pristine, gleaming white fur. You may be surprised to learn that sometimes We get somewhat grubby in our adventures around the sunny Mangamahu valley.  As you all know Me and Nellie have been going walkabout down to Farmer Rae’s kiwifruit orchard.  For what purpose you might ask?  Well, today mummy followed Me and Nellie on our romp down to see Farmer Rae and what did she discover Me and Nellie doing. Why we were digging a hole to Spain.  Our hole has got so large Nellie can fit into it.  Mummy was not very happy with Me and Nellie.  For some reason she said We were bad dogs and should stop this activity at once.  Me and Nellie took no notice of her and continued our burrowing. After much yelling Me and Nellie decided that it might be a good idea to come home with mummy.  Mummy didn’t take the camera down to the orchard, so she couldn’t capture any evidence of our triumphant digging talent.  Me and Nellie will keep you posted on our attempts to get to Spain.  Love Nellie and Jasper, the cleanest maremmas in all the land.

On another note. Go team New Zealand in their sailing endeavours.  Three wins away from the America’s cup becoming New Zealand’s cup (again).

But doesn’t your mummy know that digging holes is so much fun and great exercise? Woooooowoooooooo!

  2. You ARE usually gleaming white! Digging a hole to Spain must be pretty dirty work. I usually only dig up the blankets on Mom’s bed.

    Love and licks,

Yes, the America’s Cup is here in the San Francisco Bay. What strange boats but it looks like New Zealand is going to win! I actually prefer them to win over the Oracle Boat even though I live here.
