Spring gardening

010Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Mummy was taking advantage of the nice, warm spring weather and do some gardening.  She brought some little tomatoes plants and was potting them up to put in her little green house.  She finally got around to planting her beans and while she was preparing the soil in one of her raised garden beds, when she looked down and noticed a little green frog sitting there.  It is an Australian green bell frog, sitting in the sunshine.  She was very surprised to see it there, even though she knows that there are frogs living in Farmer Rae’s water troughs.

So sorry about the America’s Cup. I really really really thought that New Zealand was going to win.

We have a frog visitor and we love her. Unfortunately, after we take her out of the pool (the chlorine can’t be good for her), she hops back in a few times.

Did you play with the froggy Jasper? Wooooowoooooo!

  5. Gardening is fun and exciting. So are frogs. Don’t eat them. I’ve heard they taste nasty.

    Love and licks,

  6. We see green frogs on our deck wall usually at night waiting for bugs. We have plenty of bugs lately and some, like bush moths, Honey catches and eats.:) She will eat anything – she’s currently chewing her way through a lump of wood 😦 Sorry about the cup – we were wishing you could do it. Nutmeg, the one discerning golden retriever.

Gee… Did he (the frog) swim all the way to your place from mine?
