Busy doing nothing.

Some tulips, just ignore the weeds in the background.

Greeting loyal readers. Today is another sunny Mangamahu day and mummy is pottering around her garden with our assistance of course. She says now that the warmer weather is here, it means plants in the garden are starting to grow, along with weeds. Mummy is not very good at weeding. She says it is like doing out-door housework and as loyal readers know, mummy is not one of life’s little house-keepers. Along with plants growing, another indicator of the arrival of spring is the amount of white, snowy fur that appears on the floors, furniture and just about everywhere in the house.  Mummy says it is amazing how much fur comes off Me and Nellie in just an hour.  She says no sooner  she has  finished vacuuming, then it needs to be done again.  You will be glad to know that Me and Nellie don’t care.  If, vacuuming is the price to pay for having two such wonderful maremmas in her life, then mummy has no reason to complain.   Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in all the land.

So, you shed a bunch in the spring, how lovely is that? It’s like the snow in the swiz alps. People pay good money to go there..snort. I like that photo of Nellie too. I think she has a stick stuck in her fur.

You should collect all the furs, you could build a new playmate from it?

Typist loves the idea of weeding being compared to house work – made her giggle!

That is such an adorable photo of Nellie! It is amazing, and yet another reason why I love all of my bloggy friends, is because we get to experience where everyone lives! We are heading into Fall over here with our weather getting colder at nights. (snow is just around the corner for us) We will be putting our gardening season to rest over here soon, what a sad day that will be. I totally agree with the vacuuming when you have dogs! I vacuum 3-4 times a day to keep up with the fur tumbleweeds!

  5. Around here, Mom pays the same price for having the joy I bring. Furs. Everywhere. She threatens to build a new dog with the furs she sweep up and then throw me in the garbage. So far, she hasn’t done it.

    Love and licks,

Sweet Jasper we think vacuuming is a very small price to pay to have you and sweet Nellie share your home with them. We bet they would do anything they had to for you to be in their lives. Very pretty flowers. You all have a super weekend! Hugs and nose kisses

What a beautiful garden. It’s a good thing your mom has you two helpers, even if you create quite a mess! Enjoy the weekend.

What lovely flowers. I wish I could grow them but I have a brown thumb and anything I try to grow just withers and die. I only have a little Lhaso Apso but he leaves lots of furs all around my house. I swear I sweep up enough furs to make another dog each week. LOL

Mummy is a neat freak. Vacuum once a week and that’s it.
