Royal Agricultural and Pastoral Show

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Yesterday, mummy and daddy went over to Feilding to go to the  Royal Agricultural and Pastoral Show, leaving Me and Nellie in the care of brother.  When they left it was rainy and overcast, but the weather cleared and it soon became very hot.  Mummy likes going to agricultural shows to look at the animals and farm machinery.  Mummy says that there were no maremmas there, but there were lots of little Jack Russell terriers.  She says that they are very popular dogs to have as pets in farming families.

Here are some photos daddy took of some of the animal.  Please don’t ask mummy what kind of cows and sheep they are because she doesn’t know.  All she knows is that they are very big and there were lots of them.

Off Me and Nellie go.  It is starting to rain again and We must position ourselves on the carpet to have a little apres-morning dinner snooze.  Love Nellie and Jasper.

  5. I like this shows too. And I always have to wait at home and the car too. My mom said there are Ox and donkeys enough :o)

  6. Lee says:

Look at the horns on that bull, why they have to be five feet across.
I got you Christmas card today. Thank You.
I have over sixty of my cards sent so far, but have fallen behind because I had an ice storm in Cincinnati and no electricity.

  7. Hello, Jasper and Nellie! Mum’s pretty sure those pale cattle at the beginning are Charolais. Some of Mum’s friends were at the show, manning (and dogging) the Greyhounds as Pets stand there. They said they had a great time, too, though it was very warm.:-)

Lots of love from Solo and Krissy 🙂
