Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas. Mummy has been telling Me and Nellie that some of our bloggie friends are living through some very nasty snow storms in the Northern Hemisphere While, Me and Nellie have only been in snow once and We did not like it one little bit, Me and Nellie hope that you are all keeping warm, snoozing in front of the fire or heater. It is hard for Me and Nellie to imagine cold and wet weather because, as usual it is sunny and warm here in the Mangamahu valley.
Now that all the pawty guests have gone home (including the boyfriend) it is lovely and peaceful here at Chez Jasper. Mummy is pottering around in the garden, brother is playing on his computer, sister is resting and reading a book and daddy is watching the cricket. New Zealand is playing the West Indies and there is a chance that New Zealand could win. Mummy says daddy is being an eternal optimist as it is well known that the New Zealand cricket team (called the Black Caps) are very good at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and it ain’t over until the fat lady signs. Whatever this means.
Off Me and Nellie go. Farmer Rae is moving his cows in the next door paddock and We must be here at the fence to
bark supervise him. Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in all the land.
