    Best wishes Molly

  3. I’m in the same system as Fredricka, I think -33C with the wind chill and a warning for tonight (-40C to -45C, which my scribe says is pretty much the same in degrees F). I’m not enjoying my outside time so much these days – my toes get cold fast and no one wants to go outside with me at all! So, I am envying you your walk with your camera toting two-legger, Jasper. And my scribe wants to know what that stunning white flower is. We don’t have anything like it here. Do they smell good? Can you eat them? – Latter two questions are mine, BTW…
Signed, Stella the Great Newfenees in Canada the Cold

No words needed, anyone can see that this post is just loaded with beauty! And that includes sweet Jasper and sweet Nellie. Hugs and nose kisses

  5. Beautiful sky! Such happy dog smiles.
We’re warming up a bit(7C). Birds are fluffed up in sunny spots out of the wind.

A Maremma-tail cloud in the sky! We love it.

Freezing cold in some parts, but we have just had a four-day heat-wave in the Queen’s Land. We stayed indoors most of the time with the air conditioning running which was s-o-o boring. And we went for walks only late in the evening once the sun had set and it started to cool down a little. And we often sit in the middle of the park in the dark for ages and watch people and doggies and other things go by – the perfect way for a Maremma to to spend her time, surveying her territory. (Yes the park is all mine).

Back to normal now and yesterday we went for swims in the lake and had such a good time. Then an official-looking man came over and told our scribe that us doggies were not allowed there … Can you imagine that!? Big, ugly, noisy, polluting speedboats all over that lake but no doggies allowed. And we were so friendly to the man too, wagging our tails and smiling at him … My scribe said the man was just doing his job, but he was saying very naughty things about the company the man works for. After the man had left. No point making enemies, because we will just go back next time and do it all again and stay as long as the going is good.

Never mind, we were worn out already we had done so much running, swimming, wading, playing and woofing we were ready to go home for a snooze anyway.

Off I go, doggy things to do. Best wishes to all for the New Year from Ninnie, now the coolest and wettest Maremma in the Queen’s Land again.
