Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas. Now as you all know Me and Nellie live in the sunny Mangamahu Valley, in New Zealand. For us living in the Southern Hemisphere. it is now the end of the first month of autumn. However, you could be forgiven for thinking that it was still summer. Unlike our friends in the Northern Hemisphere we have not had any
snow water falling from the sky. It has not rained here all month, so it has been getting very dry. The grass in the paddocks is getting very brown. Mummy is on a get-fit-reigme and went for a bike ride this morning. Here are some photos she took.
As you can see everything looks brown and golden. Mummy says that there is no rain forecast until next week. She is watering the garden but only in an attempt to keep her hydrangeas alive. So cross your paws, out there in blog land and hope that it rains soon or else there will be talk of another drought like there was last year.
Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in the land.
