Thomas the Tank Engine

Me taking my rightful place under the kitchen table.

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas. Today, mummy’s brother and his family came to visit Me and Nellie, family.  Mummy’s little nephew Adam is nearly three years old and loves Thomas the Tank Engine, so family got brother’s train set out for him to play with.  Unfortunately Me and Nellie were not allowed to join in the fun.  Something was muttered about Us being too big and clumsy and with our sweeping white tails and large paws, We could do some damage to a carefully laid out train track.  We had to stay outside and put up with being feed tasty left overs from lunch.

As you see from the photos, Adam was having lots of little boy fun playing with the train set, so much fun that he didn’t want to go home.

  1. That is some fancy train set! I can see why you were banished to the yard. It does not look Maremma-friendly!

I don’t know Thomas the Tank Engine, it’s the first I’ve heard about it. If I don’t know about it, it’s not worth knowing for a canine. Just relax and enjoy the change of seasons.

We still have Thomas trains here from when my younger person was little. Sometimes my little friend comes over for a visit and gets them out. I don’t get to play with them either.

  4. Wow that is some impressive set up. What fun. Pity you had to stay outside. Have a marvellous Monday.
    Best wishes Molly

My small human loved Thomas when he was that age too. Now he’s more into Lego. We don’t get to play with that either!

I think you would’ve made playtime with the trains waaay more fun!
