Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremma. Now, the weather has been getting warmer, mummy and daddy have been outside, doing things around the house and garden. They spent Sunday, pouring a vast amount of chemicals into the pool and starting up the filtration and chlorination systems. Mummy says the children can start using the pool this Labour weekend, the traditional start of summer here in New Zealand.
Mummy has been putting bird netting over her strawberry beds to keep the birds away.
The raspberries will be next to have bird netting over them.
Later on, Mummy took Me and Nellie for our daily 5 kilometer (3 miles) walk. We are such good dogs when We go for our walks. But for some reason, mummy needs to use phrases as “Don’t even think about it, Jasper” and “No, Nellie” when Me and Nellie want to something interesting.
