Thunder Storm

See the darkened sky.

See the darkened sky.

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas. As you all know it is summer here in sunny New Zealand and today was no exception, untill the sky went dark and the lightning and thunder started.  Of course, Me and Nellie were the bestest behavioured maremmas in all the land and stayed inside having a snooze, but for some reason the temperature dropped only by 10C from 33 C (91.4F)  to 23 C ( 73.4F), within an hour. –

P1050210The thunder-storm lasted for the best part of 4 hours and then all of sudden the sky cleared and it became fine again.

P1050218P1050217Me and Nellie decided to go outside and enjoy some nature. P1050207P1050058Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in all the land.

It’s winter here in Texas and we are having cold rain right now. Haven’t seen the sun in several days. Hope it shows today as I am getting very depressed by the gloom. Glad you have a beautiful stunt day after the storm.

  6. Kismet says:

We get a lot of them in summer and none of us are freaked by the thunder and lightening.

  8. Sounds like a loooong loud storm. Whew. It would be far too muddy here to go outside after that….the German visited on Christmas. Together, Molly and the German managed to plow up the soggy ground….but they are both so good about having their feet wiped. We are once again covered with chilly heavy fog all day today…So happy you finally got to go outside

  9. Marty the Manx says:

Hope you enjoyed the break in the temperatures! Wishing you a Happy New Year!

  10. Lady loves a good storm, but Hailey does not. Stay cool.
