Summer Garden

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Now, as you all know it is summertime here in sunny New Zealand and the temperature is regularly hitting 35 C (95 F) each day.  Mummy has been busy out in the garden; watering her vegetable plants and flower garden. Me and Nellie do not like hot weather.  We like to stay inside where it is nice and cool. Hope you like the photos.

Off Me and Nellie go.  It is time for our pre-afternoon nap in the shade.  Love Nellie and Jasper, the two hottest, bestest maremma in the land.

    I’m there for dinner-expect me!

  2. Hi, Jasper and Nellie – your garden’s looking lovely. You seem to get summer a bit earlier there than where we are, up on the Coromandel Peninsula; the temp has been in the mid-twenties here today, and that’s where it is most days. The plums on our trees are still quite small, and green, too!

    Try to keep cool!

  3. Don’t let those naughty chickens pull out the vegetables.

  4. do you have room for another dinner guest? I mean Kismet is small and eats not much, can I come too for dinner?

Thank you, J.! We needed to see warm toasty pictures today. Plus a plum tree. It’s shivery cold around here and Mom is going to make me go out there in a little while!!! Ugh.

    Love and licks,
