First Egg

OUr first egg

Our first egg

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Now, as you all know those peasky chickens have returned.  Me and Nellie think they serve no purpose whatsoever, but family seems to like them and keep on feeding them, so they keep on hanging around. Today, family were rewarded with an egg, just one egg, mind you.  Judging by the fuss made by family, you would have though it was a golden egg.  Who cares.  Me and Nellie don’t, unless some eggs come our way.

An egg! Yay! I always wondered where those delicious scramble-y things came from! Those chickens are awesome! Once mom dropped an egg on the floor. I graciously offered to help clean it up, but she said the word, “Leave it.” And then she cleaned most of it and only let me lick a little bit. I wish we had a chicken. Do they come in a city variety?

    Love and licks,

You’re not thinking BIG. You could write a book and sell the rights to it for a movie. You answered the age old question, “which cam first? the chicken or the egg?”.

  7. Wow, maybe that is a golden egg! ^_^

Ummmm, maybe family needs to get a rooster to inspire the egg layers? One egg will not a family feed 😦
