Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Today, sees the beginning of a new season here in the sunny Mangamahu valley.  Though you wouldn’t think so, judging by the temperature.  But mummy and daddy are getting prepared for cooler times.  This morning they left Me and Nellie, took the trailer and came back with a load of wood.

IMG_2036Daddy has been very busy, chopping wood for the winter months.  He says that mummy goes through lots of wood.

See lots of chopped wood

IMG_2041IMG_2040IMG_2039As you can see the land looks very brown and dry. Mummy says rain is not on the foreseeable forecast, so the dry conditions look like they will continue.

For some reason there was a chicken in the bath. Just don't ask.

Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest, hottest maremmas in all the land.

Happy Autumn. OMP – a chicken in the bath. Now I’m sure there is a story about that! Do share! XOXO – Bacon

  10. Chicken in the bath. So that’s unusual? (giggles) Happy fall. We may have had our first day of spring here: 80’s F. and sun once the fog cleared, but cold front arriving shortly with big temp drop into the upper 30’s F – hang on palm trees! (and most of the landscape here is still brown from winter and too much rain! More mud than grass. But maybe makes for lovely spring wildflowers shortly) Paw waves and wishes for a perfect day for you!
