Silly Chicken

Daddy's new friend

Daddy’s new friend

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas. Now as you all know, we have six chickens living here at Chez Jasper. For some reason, one of the chickens decided to run away and mummy and daddy couldn’t find her for ages. They thought maybe the chicken had gone to live at Farmer Rae’s orchard, like the cows have.  But oh no, the chicken was just hiding from everyone.

Eventually,  mummy and daddy found out where the chicken had been hiding with her eggs – 23 of them, all hidden under a camellia bush next to the house.

See the chickens eggs.

See the chickens eggs.

Now, that mummy and daddy know where the chicken is hiding they will be able to keep an eye on here.  Now, off Me and Nellie go as it is time for more pawty preparations and as loyal readers know Me and Nellie love a good pawty.  Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in all the land.

Me getting the love and attentioin that I deserve from sister.

  1. Oh that chicken is a secret agent of the easter bunny and his mission is to hide eggs for the bestest Maremmas, right?

  2. Your chickens have more adventures than any chickens I have ever met. Plus I have never met a chicken. But sometimes, I eat them.
