A Frosty Morning.

See Me in front of the log burner fire.

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Now as you all know here in New Zealand it is nearly the shortest day.  This means that the days are short and the nights are long and cold.  Me and Nellie do not like the cold.  We like to be sleeping, warm in front of the fire.  This morning when we awoke the day begun cold and frosty.  (-2 C: 28.4 f)  Here are some photos, mummy took.

IMG_2720IMG_2723You will glad to know that the temperature reached 14 C (57 F) this afternoon.   Mummy says it was almost topically warm.   Me and Nellie are not too sure about this.

Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in all the land.

Nellie, being cute and adorable.

I love to be warm, too, J. 57F in the fall is not as warm as 57F in the spring for some reason. You and Nellie are smart to stay cuddly near the fire.

    Love and licks,

You have mild winters also. -2 is nothing compared to some winters.

In Labrador (Canada), we have to put up with -50 degrees Celsius temperatures. Not sure how Bailey, our Newfoundland puppy, will do as she came to us when it was only -27 degrees Celsius. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that she will have an extra furry coat by then.

  4. Sounds like perfect weather to me! We Scotties love a little nip in the air.

The frost looks lovely on the grass. I’m surprised you don’t like cold weather when we agree on so many things!
