The Structure

The first blossom on a plum tree

The first blossom on a plum tree

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas. Today was a lovely sunny Mangamahu day. The temperature was 17C (62F). Not bad for the middle of winter. Signs of spring are starting to appear, so mummy and daddy were busy making this structure to go in the house garden.

Can you guess what they are?

IMG_3176Climbing frames for mummy’s bean and pea plants.  They were made from branches pruned from the fruit trees.  Isn’t daddy clever?  Mummy says she will not be needing them for a few months but given how warm it has been here lately, who knows.

IMG_3177IMG_3179Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in all the land.

  1. that’s a pawsome idea… maybe you will invent a totally new fruit-veggie that way? apple-beans or bean-plums?

I like those stick frames, J. At first I thought they were tepees. Then you and Nellie would be able to camp out in the yard…..

    Love and licks,

I thought it was the Kiwi version of the Eiffel Tower.

Awesome weather my friends. I could really go for some 62 degree weather right now. It is H.O.T. here in Georgia. Way to hot for my liking. XOXO – Bacon
