Run, Rabbit Run

IMG_4147Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  As you all know it is spring time here in the sunny Mangamahu valley and baby animals are starting to appear.  Little lambs and calves and living underneath our house  is a herd of kittens: a group of baby rabbits.  Mummy is not that keen on having rabbits live in such close proximity to her garden, but Me and Nellie are most interesting in have a eat met and greet with the baby rabbits.  However, for some reason they are not that keen on coming out and playing with Me and Nellie.  Can’t imagine why.  As you can see from the photos the rabbits are still very little, maybe when they are bigger they might like to come and play with Me and Nellie.IMG_4150And what were Me and Nellie doing while the little rabbits were out playing.  Why We were having our pre-dinner snooze underneath the kitchen table.

IMG_4148Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in all the land.

We have more rabbits than Australia-and they’re all nesting in our backyarrd. The peeps won’t let Kaci and Kali at them. That’s mean to dogs and kind to bunnies.
