A Strange egg

Naughty chickens in one of mummy’s planters

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Now as you all know Me and Nellie live here at Chez Jasper with six pesky chickens.  Me and Nellie do not think much of these chickens but mummy seems to like them, so they stay.  This morning mummy went out to collect the days eggs and found this oddly shaped egg in one of the nesting boxes.

IMG_4546IMG_4547It is almost oval in shape.  She says even the funny shaped eggs taste good.  Not that Me and Nellie are allowed to eat any of the chickens eggs.  Not even when We practise our bestest groaking skills.

Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in all the land.

  1. Gah! That’s the strangest egg I ever saw! Actually, I think it’s a potato!

    Love and licks,

  2. That is a very odd egg!

In that picture, one is an egghead and the other is a conehead. I can laugh because my eggs have white shells.

  4. Wow! That is a strange egg! Shame you weren’t allowed any – we love hard-boiled eggs (except for Krissy, who thinks they’e poison!) and the occasional raw egg cracked over our dinner… Yummy!

Love from Solo, Krissy and Tess xxx

We feel sorry for the poor hen that had to push that egg out.

  6. Piglove says:

That does look strange. Maybe its a dinosaur egg? That would be cool. XOXO – Bacon
