And the Days go by

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  We have not been around Blogland for the last few days.  Mummy has been ignoring us busy with other things.  One day last week, she went to visit a friend of hers, who lives further up the Mangamahu Valley.  As We know you all like to see photos of our stunning valley.

  1. You valley is beautiful. You are both beautiful, too. It is a blizzard with 2 feet of snow in my neighborhood today.

We have bridges like that here also. They’re known by two names. “Bridge to Nowhere” and “Waste of Taxpayer Money”.

It is wonderful to see scenery with mountains. Florida is the most boring state. It is so flat and nothing looks different when you drive. We enjoy your view.

  4. Boomdeeadda says:

It’s beautiful, but we all know, ‘there’s no place like home’, right next to you two xo B

  5. wow what a view! are that peacocks in the picture? do they live free there or are they domestic animals?

    • According to the valley legends, peacocks were a very popular accessory to have in one’s garden in the 1920’s. Needless to say they were no respector’s of boundraries and soon escaped into the countryside. They live all over the valley and are very noisy, especially at night. Mummy lives in fear of them descending upon her garden. They can be very distructive, not like two maremmas.

  6. So green and lush. My pup would love to run free in your neck of the woods!

  7. Two French Bulldogs says:

  8. That looks like a wonderful place to live. I would like to run all over there, maybe try to catch some birds!
