On the Road

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Well yesterday, mummy and daddy abandoned  left Me and Nellie to go and collect the new Me.  They left very early in the morning and came back in the evening.  Mummy took some photos of their road trip:

Here are some pictures of the creatures they saw on their trip:

And here are some photos of the New Me!! Mummy and Daddy say he is so laid back that he is almost horizontal.

And now for our international readers, who may think that all there is in New Zealand are hobbits and sheep, you will be glad to know that We too have access to 24 hour a day hamburgers in such cosmopolitan town of Taihape, the gumboot capital of New Zealand.

And of course, don’t forget the international airport:

And one last photo for the road.

Love Nellie, Jasper and Itai, the bestest maremmas in all the land.

There will never be a new you, J. But Itai sure does look like he fits right in! Good luck with showing him around the neighborhood. He seems sweet.

    Love and licks,

  4. Love to Itai, Jasper and Nellie, and Liz and hubby.

Is that like Key West International Airport? It called itself International because there used to be flights to Havana (only 250km away) but those were stopped when the US and Cuba didn’t talk to each other.

  6. Oh wow, a 24 hour Mickey D’s! Ours closes sometime during the night, so if I get a bad craving I have to wait until morning. I mean until Mommy takes me again, BOL! So glad to meet you, Itai. Umm, how do the peeps pronounce your name?

Jasper spelled it incorrectly. It should be Eyetie in his Dad’s opinion. Being half-eyetie himself he has an opinion on these things.

I thought some of my overseas readers would like to see a bit of New Zealand – we went on a road trip to get another dog. Check the full post at Jasper’s Blog.

  10. Welcome Itai! I’ve seen a giant walleye (fish) and a giant blue ox and even a giant ball of string but never a giant carrot! You are so lucky!

  11. Welcome NewMe also known as Itai! Bestest maremmas in all the land. (And I’d rather have more sheep, giant carrots, and giant gumboots than McDonalds – such a lovely land)
