Our Neighbours

Going out to greet the cows.

Going out to greet the cows.

Greeting loyal readers and fellow maremmas.  Now as you all know We three all live in the countryside, therefore, We have neighbours.  Living in the paddock behind Us are six cows.   They are not there all the time, but when they are there We all like to go out and bark greet them.  For some reason mummy says We are all being silly.  After all it is not as if We have not seen cows before, but being good maremmas We totally ignore mummy and her voice.

Here are the cows looking at Us.

We are glad that Itai is finding her way and fitting in well. Its always nice when everyone can get along and enjoy your company. I’m sure you will train her to do the things to do. How do you say Itai

  2. II have the same neighbors like you… but they are scary and always try to eat me when I pass their meadow… a super sunday to the 3 bestest maremmas… or the 3 maremma-teers?

  3. Mama and I think of you as the Three Muskateers/ Maremma-teers too. We are having a lot of rain today, so go have an adventure and find some tasty treets for me!

  4. Cupcake says:

That’s the thing about moms. They always have a lot to say. We doggies are best to trust our own instincts and judgement. You kids are doing well with that!

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  5. Kismet says:

You’re telling us that the cows give you treats?

  6. corkscot says:

The Scotties have never seen cows. I think that their reaction would be very funny.

  7. Carol Gunn says:

Solomon, Polar and all the rest of the Maremmas from Balagan Kennels are so glad that their mate, Itai, has joined your family and is so happy. We find the food here does not disappear so fast either.

  8. So glad that you are keeping those cows in line and that Itai is settling in so well.

  9. Yep, those cows look terrified (*chortle*). I have heard they are tasty treat dispensers. I have only had the pleasure of trying horse treats once, and I liked it.
